While camp is currently looking towards its future, we also need to improve/repair our current facilities. The following are projects that Camp Galilee currently needs done. Any group or person that would like to work on one of these projects can set up a time and date with Camp Manager Phyllis Marsh at (301)245-4119.
Camp Galilee
1. Several trees need trimmed around camp. We are currently looking for someone with e bucket truck to help with this.
2. Baseboard in Last Chance needs installed.
3. Trails End needs insulation, trim, and flake board installed.
4. Install lights in Trails End and Fiery Furnace
5. Seal all buildings with Thompson Sealer.
6. Seal steps.
7. Complete painting in Boys Bathhouse
8. Repair boys fountain
9. Install proper heads on boys and girls fountains.
10. Dig a swale around beach to divert rainwater and stop erosion. 11. Install new seal to door of the walk in refrigerator. 12. Dispose of old piano (save ivory keys) 13. Cut and haul wood for campfire circle. 14. Repair electrical outlets on right side of Girls Bathhouse. 15. Complete gate to tennis court. 16. Repair/replace wooden fence along camp property and activities field.
