Camp Galilee and Camp Hope pride themselves on the fact that they are both staffed solely by volunteers throughout the summer. No counselor or director is paid. Our counselors and directors come to camp because they love camp and want to share there love of the Lord with children.
If you are interested in serving as a camp counselor please download a copy of the counselor application below. Also please plan to attend one of the counselor training sessions listed on the calendar. Camp Planning and Promotions sets 2-3 counselor trainings in the spring of each year throughout the District. Counselors are required to attend a training on their first summer and every five years thereafter.
If you are ages 16-18 and would like to help out for a week of camp, you also can by becoming a Counselor-in-Training or C.I.T. You then will be able to help with either Primary or Junior Camp. If you are interested please download the C.I.T. application below and plan to attend a counselor training session. Training sessions are MANDATORY for all C.I.T.s
